The folksy stories with eccentric spelling are competently typed, and circulation is reported on the masthead as growing from 12 to 86. We believe the young journalist grew up to be Maui banker and community leader Michael H. Lyons II, (1936-2004), fifth generation of the Baldwin missionary family.
