With three additional inserted engravings. Dark green ribbed cloth, spine with gilt stamped titles and decorations, blind stamped decorated covers, pale yellow endpapers, wove paper, edges trimmed.
Slight spine lean, boards a tad bowed, top edge lightly soiled; a very small stain spot to the fore edges of the first four leaves, last signature slightly buckled, front and rear endpapers with a previous owner's signature in pencil in an old hand. Spine gilt decorations, board edges and leaves remain notably crisp and bright -- in sum, a well preserved copy in original cloth. Very Good+.
