Map with split folds and repairs; both volumes moderately shaken with a few loose leaves, spine lean. Good. Item #7545

Based in part on Kendall's letters written from a Mexico City prison after the 1841 Texan Santa Fé Expedition suffered defeat, and published in the New Orleans Picayune which he had co-founded in 1837.
