The New York producer, writer and composer opened a Hollywood theatre in 1938. These items celebrate his fourth year there. On the program: his second edition of "Star Spangled Glamour, a new revue in two acts and forty scenes." Players include Aurora Miranda, Rolly Rolls, Shirley Wayne, St. Clair and Day, Gali Gali, and Beryl Wallace. Interspersed with ads for restaurants, nightclubs and boutiques. The Aurora Miranda scene was enhanced by the Michel Ortiz Rhumba Band.

The souvenir magazine includes a Carroll biography, construction of the theatre, the Wall of Fame on its Sunset Boulevard facade, photos of past productions and many girls. Featured on the cover is Beryl Wallace who in 1948 perished with Carroll in the crash of an airliner. A fascinating look at Hollywood nightlife during WWII.
