The editor introduces his selection of pages from the "excessively rare" 1911 Electric Railway Dictionary edited by Rodney Hitt. This edition reprints from that volume "all illustrations of cars and drawings of car body framing, with selections of car body details, hardware, trucks, wheels, motors and motor details." The dust jacket is now preserved in a clear, removable archival sleeve.
