A Baedeker of sorts for Asia, but with greater detail and photos; the series was published in at least four volumes in successive years in the mid-1910s. The first covers Manchuria and Chosen, the second, Southwestern Japan, this volume, and the fourth Among the 40-plus itineraries offered in this volume is a route through the oft-contested Kurile Islands. One of the best-preserved copies we've seen.
