Born in Ancona, Belluschi came to the US in 1923 as an exchange student at Cornell and soon started as a draftsman in a Portland, Oregon architectural firm where he rose rapidly before establishing his own practice. A leader in American Modernism, he worked in both International Style for businesses and Northwest regional modern for homes and religious buildings. This uncommon catalog was prepared for the first European survey of his work, an exhibition in Naples in the Spring of 1974.
