Seattle-based Niatum has published several collections of his poetry, along with appearances in many anthologies. He's a member of the Jamestown Band of the S’Klallam Tribe. "Earth Vowels" was published on the occasion of Niatum's 2006 reading at the National Museum of the American Indian; it then appeared as the title poem in a 2017 collection.

A master-carver and illustrator, Greg Colfax, is a member of the Makah Tribe, and also works as a scholar and educator specializing in the history of Native Pacific Northwest arts.

Vibrantly printed by Chris Stern and Jules Remedios Faye, proprietors of the acclaimed Grey Spider Press. Preserved in a removable, clear archival sleeve with acid-free backing.
