Item #6430 Elizabeth Henderson Calvert (McRobie) 1844-1922 also published Sealth, the City by the Inland Sea. Scarce, with OCLC recording only four institutional copies. SMITH, 1391.
Regarding the excised leaves, we suspect they were stubs created from a production flaw, rather than leaves that were cut. The only other copy we've seen was inscribed by Calvert; her inscription references the imperfection of that copy, although the exact nature of the imperfection is not specified. In this copy all 69 numbered pages are accounted for.
