The index cites four references to Frances Farmer; we're uncertain as to revelations of her affair with Clifford Odets. Author Clurman, one of the three founders of the Group Theatre, may have been circumspect in his treatment of the issue. In the handsome Paul Rand-designed dust jacket with a torn-admission ticket, channeling the innovation of Alvin Lustig. Dust jacket is now preserved in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
