Inscription reads, "For -- --, with the sincere regard of [signed] Edward Anthony Nov. 20, 1935". A preposterous adventure involving author Enders' role as advisor to the Panchan Lama of Tibet, who adopted a plan of modernization for Tibet and his millions of worldwide followers. Somehow Enders was charged with transferring $100 million in Tibetan gold to banking institutions. Purportedly. See OSS in China: Prelude to Cold War by Maochun Yu for reference to Enders as "a bag of wind" in a brief sent to "Wild Bill" Donovan.

The wrap-around dust jacket illustration by Cyrus Leroy Baldridge is a pictorial delight, evoking the exoticism of Tibet and a rakish Enders discussing a bag of gold. Dust jacket is now enclosed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
