Bound in brown cloth with gilt lettering and border stamped on front board and spine. Gilt on spine just a touch dulled. In the illustrated dust jacket that has a closed 3.5 inch tear running down the fold between the front panel and the spine; the tear then crosses horizontally across the spine. That said, dust jacket is fairly bright with slight edge-wear; the $2.50 price intact on the front flap. Near Fine / Good+. Item #6007

A novel by the noted science fiction-fantasy author, this commenting on the changing mores of the flapper generation, The dust jacket is done is a spartan art-deco fashion, monochromatic with stylized lettering. Due to a production flaw, the illustrator credit is truncated: all we can make out is "Harvey," with the last name being unintelligible. Dust jacket is now preserved in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
