Third printing of this collection of Williams' plays, being the first to add two additional plays, and outfitted with the well-known Alvin Lustig dust jacket. For reference to the genesis of the jacket design, please see Purity of Aim: The Book Jacket Designs of Alvin Lustig by Ned Drew and Paul Sternberger, p. 59. After reading Williams' collection, Lustig hit on the idea of a magnolia bloom nailed to a fence plank; the flower was to drip from its wounds, but evidently that wasn't captured in Jay Connor's photo. Dust jacket is now preserved in a removable clear archival sleeve.
