Report of the sensational Cambridge trials (157 Mass. 180, 31 N.E. 961) where Trefethen was found guilty (May 1892) then not guilty (September 1893) of the murder of five months pregnant "Tena" Davis. Crucial testimony of a trance medium who met Tena shortly before her disappearance had not been admitted in the first trial.
