A later collected-edition of these 18th century works, exquisitely bound by Ponge. Elected to the Académie in the year of his death, Charles Pierre Colardeau (1732-76) is best remembered for Héroides, written after the manner of Ovid, as well as a famous Lettre d'Héloise à Abelard, included in the first volume.
