First two pages are an index to city streets; following five pages are an index to city plats. Scale: One inch equals 200 feet. Atlas leaves printed in color. Bound in embossed black cloth-covered hinged boards, with metal screw posts, gilt title and insignia stamped on front board. Leaves are tabbed numerically to correspond to index. Two tabs are lacking and two are loose. A couple index leaves have edgewear, one with loss not affecting text. Faint mustiness, with light scuffs to covers. Good+. Item #5353

Although the atlas lacks a publication date, as usual, we've ascribed the date to 1974, for three reasons. One, the King County Administration Building ("the Waffle Iron"), built in 1972, is present. Two, Kroll's office is listed as Second Avenue; in 1975 they moved to new quarters, on Sixth Ave. Three, the site of the future Kingdome, which opened in 1976, is presented unnamed as "King County Municipal Stadium." Though well-used this volume is complete and the plates are vibrant with color. Shipping for this large heavy volume will exceed standard shipping costs.
