A cornerstone in the Age of Exploration, Livingstone's accomplishments include exploring the great lakes of Central Africa and mapping, for the first time with some precision, their size and position, and searching for the sources of the Nile. He was also one of the first to divine the source of the Congo River and documenting its flow through the continent to the sea. A handsome, presentable set.
