A novel by the author of Simon Called Peter, concerning a priest's affair during WWI, which may have been based on autobiographical circumstances. Keable left the priesthood and pursued a writing career, as this novel attests. Dust jacket, by "AH" does not resemble an Arthur Hawkins production, but it does convey consummate art deco design. Both book and dust jacket are quite fresh. Dust jacket now preserved in a removable, clear archival protector.
