Thirteen character sketches in Belcher's drawings and Aumonier's prose, the last of which is reciprocal. Aumonier hopes in the introduction that in a hundred years this long out-of-print book will be found in a dusty attic and surprise the finder with depictions of "what people were like in those bad old days." Dust jacket preserved in a removable, clear, archival sleeve.
