Underscoring in red pen to one paragraph of the introduction; bookplate removed from front pastedown. Of an edition limited to subscribers of the Records Society, this is hand-numbered copy 1629. With much focus on the Oregon Country north of the Columbia River, including a map of Puget Sound to the Cowlitz River. At the time Galbraith was serving as Professor of British Empire History at UCLA. A bright copy with only a slight suggestion of wear to dust jacket. Dust jacket is now preserved in a clear, removable archival sleeve.
