Of particular value are the great photos depicting the natural abundance of the state: harvesting massive fir trees; threshing by horse team in Whitman County; a nice bird's-eye view of Everett, referring to Everett as "the City of Smokestacks;" President Theodore Roosevelt in Everett, addressing a crowd; Gaar-Scott harvesting wheat near Goldendale, etc. Other than the defective plate, well-preserved copy.
