Based in Leschi Park, the company operated the Mosquito Fleet ferries between Madison Park and Kirkland, Mercer Island ("East Seattle") and Medina, service that was prominent and vital prior to the construction of Lake Washington's floating bridges. Among vessels in their fleet were the SS Dawn and the SS Sightseer. The firm used the Canadian National Dock at the foot of Marion Street for their Elliott Bay port. Photos of waterfront mansions are of special interest.
