A classic "cheesecake" magazine that deigns to bring respectability to nude art studies, elevating its photographers to the lofty realm of "artists" and their work from smut to "art." Absence of advertising bolsters the periodical's intent. Photographs feature female nudes in all settings, in wholesome depictions. When first published the magazine included nudes represented in all media, including prints, drawings, caricature and fine painting. Eventually all but photography were dropped, as in this issue. This number features a portfolio of nudes by Hal McQueeney. "Photographer's Handbook" article by John Lester. Bookseller inventory B10195X14J.
