Another handsome contribution to Worcesterana, who's happenstance entry to the documentation of Chinese watercraft was at the direction of Frederick Maze, who looked over Worcester's shoulder while he was sketching a sampan. Maze recognized the era of steam and diesel would displace milennia-old Chinese sailing craft, and dispatched Worcester to capture the vessels and their trade with pen and paper. Dust jacket now protected in a clear, removable archival sleeve.
