Inscription reads, To -- + -- the F stopped here Glover/Hayes 1982 F. In contrast with the 1970s high-living realm of rockstar life, Fitzgerald used insane-asylums and industrial wastelands as settings for his photoshoots. Those settings and his habit of shooting at odd angles created a disturbing visual language somewhere between Brassai and Weegee. Signed copies of Fitzgerald's first book, X-Capees, turn up with regularity. For reasons unknown, signed copies of this follow-up are scarce.
