Dedicated to Denise Levertov who, with Ramond Roseliep, befriended the poet. Originally from the Midwest, Triem gained renown by winning the 1946 Annual Award of the League to Support Poetry. She then relocated to Seattle, where her poetry evolved beyond landlocked confines. Dust jacket now protected in a clear, removable archival sleeve.
