Published as a souvenir for the opening of the Dorchester Hotel in London. The original story by Arlen is accompanied by three pieces of promotional text for the hotel. "It became known as a haunt of writers and artists such as poet Cecil Day-Lewis, novelist Somerset Maugham, and the painter Alfred Munnings" - wiki. Indeed, this refined promotional piece, albeit a bit late, evokes the sophisticated world of the Bright Young Things.
