A presentation copy from the long-time editor of the Washington Post, who wrote this tribute to John F. Kennedy. The encomium first appeared in "Newsweek" shortly after he was assassinated. It ends "John Kennedy is dead, and for that we are lesser people in a lesser land". Peter Lawford was the brother-in-law of JFK and was a member of Hollywood's Rat Pack; the association of the three figures presents a microcosm of the JFK-Hollywood verve.
Price: $7,500.00
