Front endpaper inscribed in Spanish to "Eduardo Borein," front pastedown with Edward Borein's bookplate. Santa Barbara bookseller label to rear pastedown. Some bubbling to cloth, fading to spine. Jacket spine sunned, spine ends and corners chipped, front flap detached and back flap nearly so. Very Good / Good. Item #12782 Dust jacket is now housed in a removable clear archival sleeve.
Inscribed "To Me bueno amigo un Grande Artiste Eduardo Borein de Will Rogers Caramba." Borein (1873-1945) was a painter, etcher and illustrator of the Western Frontier and Mexico who resided in Santa Barbara from 1921. The bookplate is his design.
