Includes a poem by Maurice Baring, tributes from Harold Lasky, John F. Kennedy ("My Brother Joe"), Teddy Kennedy, and several other family members and friends. A notably bright copy.
A festschrift of sorts for Joseph Kennedy, Jr., the navy aviator who was piloting an aircraft loaded with explosives when it prematurely exploded. The mission was to direct the plane to a Nazi munitions site in France, then self-eject while the flying bomb flew on autopilot to its target. For reasons unknown, the plane detonated before Kennedy and his partner could bail out.
