Meany was known for his informal Saturday meetings at the UW where students, alumni, mountaineers, and Seattle cultural figures gathered to talk about all things Northwest. This copy is certainly a product of those gatherings. Scarce thus and a strong association between Seattle's eminent historian and its leading fine press printer and publisher, whose Dogwood Press remains a sought-after imprint.
