Early, scarce territorial imprint, rare in this condition. Evans extols the vast potential for the the Puget Sound Country in an address given at Port Townsend at a time that city was expected to become the commercial capitol of the region, with Seattle appearing on contemporary maps as a small village. His speech is memorialized here in a fairly sophisticated publication, with typography, albeit in font so small as to be challenging. Per wraps, "Published by Request" and "For the Benefit of the Hall Fund of Good Templars." SMITH, 2925; SOLIDAY I, 796.
