Dortu in stiff green paper wraps, saddle stitched, numbered 357 of an edition limited to 500: toning near the spine and a small chip at the upper right corner, bookseller tag inside back cover. Facsimile of a Toulouse-Lautrec sketchbook, reproduction of watercolors, ink and graphite sketches. Bound in beige buckram, paper lettering piece on the spine, color reproduction on the covers, decorated endpapers: minimal sunning to the spine. While recuperating in Nice in 1879, the 15-year-old future painter sketched sailors and ships in the harbor. This is a remarkable reproduction of the album that had recently been acquired by New York collector Clifford A. Furst.
