Tipped-in at end of Vol. II is a typescript of a piece called The Nomenclature of the Cascades which Meany notes was "Read at Mountaineer's Campfire, Happy Valley, Mt .Adams 17 Aug. 1917" Tipped-in at end of Vol. I is a poem in Meany's hand "My Hour by the Northern Sea" written on verso of the letterhead for the Seattle Chamber of Commerce and a printed copy of Washington Beloved a song written by Meany dated University of Washington Seattle 14 XII 1907.
