Quarter green cloth over illustrated boards, spine lettered in gilt, light toning to edges, touch of wear to bottom corners else tight and bright with original glassine dust jacket with wear to extremities, couple of shallow chips. Uncommon thus.
"Autographed for" Frank McCaffrey by the author. McCaffrey was the publisher and printer of The Dogwood Press, Seattle's leading private press of the 1930s-1950s. McCaffrey would publish Meany'sWashington From Life in 1931 and Meany contributed prefaces and introductions to a number of Dogwood publications. Indeed, McCaffrey's Campus Memories is an ode to Meany, referred to therein as "the grand old man of the campus." A top-tier association copy. Fine / Very Good+. Item #12164
