"Autographed for" Frank McCaffrey by the author. McCaffrey was the publisher and printer of The Dogwood Press, Seattle's leading private press of the 1930s-1950s. McCaffrey would publish Meany'sWashington From Life in 1931 and Meany contributed prefaces and introductions to a number of Dogwood publications.
