This copy signed by editor Kowrach and dated the year of publication. Author Diomedi served as a vital force in establishing a Jesuit presence in the Northwest, and Seattle in particular. He had a significant role in administering the first Jesuit parish, Immaculate Conception, which evolved into Seattle University. Moreover, he also founded Seattle's second Jesuit parish and parochial school, St. Joseph's, which thrives today on north Capitol Hill.
