Hanson (1894-1942) was the chief radio engineer for Admiral Richard E. Byrd’s expedition to Antarctica and a pioneer in the development of long-distance radio communications and radar. This biography was written by his mother and published for distribution to friends and family. Truly rare on the market; no copies identified through OCLC.
