Item #10479 Evans (1828-1898) was one of Washington's first lawyers, the first mayor of Olympia, a Territorial Legislator, librarian and the Territory's first historian. This historical-promotional pamphlet was published by order of the legislature. Scarce on the market, with only two recorded copies appearing at auction since 1979; OCLC locates just three copies.
